Going on a low carb diet always helps but I don't relaly know how. Haha. Execise and eat right. That's the key.

Exercise:
Run for at least 40min everyday. Or jog or just wlak around. Make sure you do it at a constant speed and slowly increase your speed. don't start off running then get tired and walk..because that's not very effective. Make sure you stretch, warm up, exercise, then stretch to avoid craps and sore muscles. Aerobics are always awesome and kickboxing and pilates are good too. Just make sure you fit in 40-60min of exercise every other day or even every day.

Eating:
Make sure you eat healthy. Don't say oh I ate this small amount of chocolate and the calorie is a vast amount, now I'm not gonna eat. Or something like that. Eating healthy is the key to every diet.

Foods to avoid:
Fast food like burgers, pizzas, fries/Junk food like chips, gummies, chocolate, candy, soda (even diet)/Saturated fats like butter/Mayo, peanut butter and greasy foods like bacon. Cut them all out of your diet. It will change your weight. CAnned food, prepackaged and made food, TV dinner type fo foods.

Now, eat whole grain bread when you reach for that toast. Eat healthy cereals insstead of those sugar loaded ones. Drink water instead of juice or milk and what not. Well, milk is actually good for the body. Try to avoid chugging down food too quickly and reaching for that seconds. Avoid eating in front of the TV because research shows that it causes eaters to eat more. Try to portion your meals (healthy amounts) and use a smaller plate instead of those big dinner dishes.

Breakfast you must eat because skipping breakfast will slwo down your metabolism for the day resulting in not losing weight. When you have the urge to eat something, wait 10minutes an drink water. If the temptation is still there, eat something healthy like carrots and fat free ranch or apples or whatever. Eat small healthy snacks in between meals to reduce your urge to eat more..

Good luck and have fun =]

Running a mile a day really helps. It also gets you feeling energized. Even if you walk part of the time, it still works. Don't push yourself too hard. Doing situps helps a lot too. Try doing about 50 of these a day. These help you to have a tiny tummy, and you can also lose weight from doing situps.

As far as diets go, don't go on one of those scary diets where you don't eat anything!! Don't skip meals either. *Did you know that you actually gain weight when you don't eat breakfast for a long enough time?* Just lay off the junk food, and stick to fruits and veggies for snacks.

If you just stick to these tips then you're sure to lose some weight by the time you need.
