Aw, I know the feeling.
What you should do is say " mom, ugh i need something from the store"
and then she'll say " what"
and just say " something kinda personal"
and she'll usually understand exactly what your trying to say.
Or you could say "mom, i wanna tell you something , but its really embarassing"
And if your still hesitant, get a few bucks and buy them yourself until you get the stregnth to tell her.
Good luck!
