theres this new thing. like, you can wear contact lenses [with color!] even if you have clear vision.
well ive had eye infection before [because of eyeliner] and someday i really want to use those like for speacial occasions [etc] to make me look attractive. [i also believe that bright eyes look better than dark eyes]
the deal is, do you think it will hurt my eye or cause infection if i use it because ive had eye infection before?
please give me advice thanks!

They will either come with a special cleanser or will give you a recommendation for what brand to use when you clean the lenses. They also come with instructions on how to care for your lenses, which may vary depending on the brand you choose. If you have difficulty putting them in, ask somebody who wears regular contacts to help you.
As long as you keep them clean and take care of them properly you should not have a new infection. Oh, and make sure you wash your hands thoroughly before handling contacts.
Also, as a note, change your makeup (all of it) every three months. This prevents future bacterial growth and keeps your makeup looking fresh and up-to-date. Keep makeup in a cool and dry place, and try not to share eye or lip makeup. [ LadyAnne's advice column | Ask LadyAnne A Question ]

TEENAGExHEARTS answered Friday November 24 2006, 2:32 pm: well there are definitly risks for these contacts. but i do know that color contacts are perfectly safe to use if you are also trying to correct your vision. since you've had an eye infection from eyeliner before that shows that your eyes are sensitive and you have to be careful what you put in them
but overall i would say that they are safe to wear as long as you buy them from a well known brand such as O2 Optix or acuve. but if you buy them from a brand you've never heard of, them it can be a little iffy.
i hope i've helped =]
***IN ADDITION FROM FEEDBACK***
no i'm not positive that o2 optix and acuve sell color lenses for clear vision. but i do know that acuve sells them for correcting your vision. personally i don't know any brands that sell colored contacts for clear vision because i use contacts to correct my vision...lol. but my point was that if your going to buy colored contacts for clear vision make sure you buy them from a well known brand.
