In-State tuition.

Question Posted Tuesday November 21 2006, 10:37 pm

I currently live in Virginia but I want to attend an Ohio College. Does anyone know how long you have to actually live in the state to claim in-state tuition?

the general rule is, you should have paid the yearly taxes in that state. it varies state to state, and sometimes even college to college.

it varies from state to state. i dont know about ohio. but alaska is one year, california is one year , new mexico is six months. you need to contact the university of ohio (google them for their website. look for the word "registrar") they will tell you how long.
