i'm not too happy with my body, and i think that shedding a few pounds would boost my self esteem and help me look better.
i'm just curious of whats the quickest, healthiest way to loose weight without having to pay money like jenny craig and weightwatchers, but things i could do at home or outside in my backyard to get fit.

Just look for quick and easy ways to change your lifestyle. Instead of taking your car to a store a block away, walk or jog. Park on the opposite side of the mall and take a long walk to the store you need to go to. Run (safely) or walk up and down stairs at home during your free time. Do sets of 20 crunches 3-4 times a day to take off the excess fat around your stomach. If you want, you could join a gym, although I know that costs money. Some guys have free trials that last 3-7 days that you may want to try. For food, decrease your intake of calories per day; that doesn't neccessarily mean decreasing your FOOD intake. Lay off TV dinners, even if they claim to be fat-free, because they have a ton of salt. Instead of buying fatty ice creams, buy 1 or 2-point Weight Watchers ice creams-- I eat them and I'm an average weight, I recommend the Chocolate Fudge Cups (2 points). Then just do the obvious things- go Skim or 1% milk instead of Whole, fat free or unbuttered popcorn, try unsalted pretzels. Doing these things, you should take off 5+ pounds in less than 2 weeks. Bluebell78 answered Monday November 20 2006, 9:58 pm: well i think there is really a way to lose pounds quickly unless yoour willing to put your mind into it and work hard. the key is to exersice. run up and down the steps. jog around the neighborhood. do exersice tapes if you have any.
