HERPES HELP!
I'm worried sick.
My boyfriend has herpes and he has little red dots that look like pimples around his mouth and well I just found out he had herpes. I kisseddd him, many times! I went home and looked in the mirror and there was little red dots around my mouth. Is it herpes? How do I tell? AHH HELP PLEASE! I'm so scareed. Please hellp! Thankss.

Don't jump the gun and assume it's herpes, even though it's very likely. Make an appointment to see your doctor, and just talk to him/her about what has happened. They will take the necessary steps to determine whether or not it is Herpes, and then will prescribe what is best for you to use. While one person may take one prescription for it, you could have allergies to it so never take anything for it unless your doctor says it's okay.
You'll be fine, these types of things are getting to be more common. Unfortunately for you it doesn't sound like your boyfriend let you know that he had herpes from the get-go, and these are unfair consequences. Make sure you do the right thing if things don't work out with your boyfriend, by telling future sexual partners about this.

It probably is herpes, it sounds like it. Same thing happened with me and my boyfriend, I get cold sores [herpes] all the time, and now he gets them. :[ Unforunately the only thing you can do is use cold sore medicine when you get them, and use carmex every day to try and prevent them. :]

hunn sorry to break it to you it may be herpes or it just may be a sensitive reaction.

the only way to tell whether you have herpes is by getting a blood test from your doctor.
