i have that all the time.
what you should do is soak it in epson salt for like a half-1 hour, than put floss under your toe , so that the toe nail doesnt grow in to your skin
if this doesnt work, than you deffinantely should go see a doctor

I have a problem with these, I feel your pain. Mine got so bad that a corner of the nail was almost sticking out of the skin. Yes it was disgusting. I had to go to the doc because it was bad, he gave me a local Lanacane shot in my toe which totally deadened all the nerves and i watched him rip underneath the nail and cut half the nail off my toe and I didn't feel a thing...until the shot wore off a few hours after I got home lol.

Go to the doctor, I ignored mine for a while and it got really bad and infected.

You should definitely go to the doctor. An ingrown toenail shouldn't be a bother for more than a week. I'm not sure what they will do, but they probably won't have to remove the whole nail. My guess is that they will numb your toe and just remove the corner of the nail. Good luck! :)
