i like this person, but he's going out with another girl. i want him to like me, but i know he's happy with her. we're really close friends, but i want to be more. what should i do?

If you really care about this guy you'll let him be. This may sound like really bad and annoying advice, but it's true. If you know he's happy don't do anything to ruin his relationship because he won't come running to you he'll be really angry at you. Because your in middle-high school the odds are in your favor that they'll probably break up. If/when they do comfort him. I suggest bake him cookies and watch a really funny movie(but not the BREAK UP!) Give him time to feel better before asking him out. Who knows? He might ask you before you as him.
