Small HSF Heatsink fan (CPU cooler) for a Tyan 2469 K7x Thun

Question Posted Friday November 17 2006, 4:55 pm

I need advice on any known CPU cooler that will fit on the CPU1 socket of this motherboard. (Tyan 2469 k7x thunder pro)

The problem is that the cooler most not be much larger than 60x60mm since the components on the board get in the way of anything larger.

Any Socket A, or Socket 370 cpu coolers you know of that fit that size parameter and will also cool an AthlonMP 1600+, 1900+, 2000+, 2100+, 2200+, 2400+ or 2800+ would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you!

Signed,

My AthalonMP has a fever.

Go to newegg.com and search for '"socket A" +"60mm"' with the double quotes(") and the plus, but not single quotes('). It'll give you 3 fans. If you can't find what you want search "60mm" and it'll give you more. If you still can't find it, you should file a question with protonic.com, they have people that are A+ certified and are more likely to answer your question.
