im afraid

im a social butterfly and i know alot of people but i feel i have no friends. last year was great because i did have friends that i had so much fun with but this year 3 of those friends are gone 2 are in another class and two are in my class.Im finding myself depressed all the time because i feel left out. one of my friends are alkways talking to the other friend and hardly talks to me and the other one is busy listening and talking with the other friend. when we do have sum fun or laugh it doesnt feel the same. i try to never show my deppression and try to hide it by laughing or maing a joke but about two weeks ago i gt so depprsed that i went into the bathroom and started crying.im always fighting with one of my friends because she tends to get bad attitudes with me but blames it on her period but its not that cus shes nothen but friendly to everyone else.ive never had this problem cus im a very outgoing person but its gotten sooo bad that its rare i have a day were i dont feel really deppresed. i dont know wut to do and i feel im falling over the edge and i have know one to talk to about how im feeling!im afraid it will get sooo bad that i will do something to try to release myself that will bring harm to me. thanx to any one who responds!

You are not alone. It is normal to go through times of changes and feel like we are alone and depressed. This will pass and you will feel good and happy again. It is so important to remember that although feelings of depression and sadness can be overwhelming and feel permanent, they are NOT permanent. Never make any serious decisions that you would regret later when you are feeling bad, because when you do feel normal and happy again, you will be glad that you refrained from doing anything bad or harmful. Friends come and go easily sometimes, especially when you are young. The best thing you can do is talk to your parents, a teacher, school counselor or other trusted adult about your feelings and ask for their support and guidance. Also, I would try to no concentrate on just a few people, but try to make as many friends as possible and give more people a chance to be your friend. There is a really big chance that their are other kids your age that feel the same way as you, and wonder why you are not being their friend, too. It is okay to cry and let out your feelings and you can also feel better after talking to someone about it. Let me know how you are doing and I will be here for you.
