LagunaBabe answered Friday November 17 2006, 1:31 am: Conair is the best brand for straighteners. I suggest a ceramic one, the plastic do not work well at all. You can get them at Wal-Mart and/or CVS (or any other local drugstore). They cost around $20. [ LagunaBabe's advice column | Ask LagunaBabe A Question ]

xcheerbabex108 answered Tuesday November 14 2006, 6:13 pm: CVS is a good place to start. You can pretty much get good straightners anywhere you look, but I shop at CVS. I refuse to buy anything but Conair, so the brand is your choice, but I use the Conair straighter;;it's black, has 25 heat settings, and heats up in 60 seconds. I'm sorry for not knowing the direct name for it, but it's pretty easy to find and works great on mainly any hair type. (Even though I have light and wavy hair naturally, my friend bought this and she has thick and VERY curly hair, so trust me, it works.)
