um i have a serious problem. i MIGHT be anorexic. i'm not really sure... i mean it's not that i don't eat cause i feel i'm fat, it's just like.. i don't feel like eating. anorexia has never been a problem for me and i never thought i'd get it cause a lot of girls say they are anorexic for attention but like on weekdays, i have school and i don't eat breakfast and a bring a 100-calorie pack and some apple juice. well, because this is helping me lose weight, i can't stop. i've had four real meals since last wednesday :(. i don't like eating when i'm not hungry cuase then i feel fat, but when i'm hungry i'll eat anything..
If you're truly anorexic, you WANT to eat, but you can't. It's not just starving yourself for attention, there's a difference. If you keep eating like this, it will become more serious.
I'd give it another week or so. Take a multivitamin everyday (this will keep you from being seriously deprived of any vital nutrient; I especially rcommend a women's formula for iron)and at least TRY to eat something a few times a day.
Don't worry if you're not hungry for breakfast; even though it's not the best meal to skip, you're fine if you eat something at least by lunch. As long as you're eating at least a little, you'll probably be all right. Not being hungry at school is normal, but really really try to eat a normal dinner. Since you've been not eating for awhile now, you may be hungry and not even realize it. So try to eat.
If this persists for a long time, I recommend seeing a doctor. To approach your parents about it, say something along the lines of, "Hey mom, I haven't had much of an appetite lately. Could you make me a doctor's appointment to make sure everything's alright?" instead of, "AHH OMG MOM I THINK IM ANOREXIC I NEED TO SEE THE DOCTOR RIGHT NOWWWW!" This will freak out your parents unnecessarily.
Stuff like this happens to almost everyone, so don't worry about it too much.
