Joan of Arc

I'm in the mists of doing a report on Joan of Arc but I have to do 5 bullit facts about her before.

Can someone tell me the main conflict/historical event in Joan of Arcs life??

Joan of Arc is a Catholic saint who is a martyr and is the patron saint of France. She was quite an interesting saint, and was burnt at the stake by the English.

This would be my 5 bullet points:

1. Poor, French girl, called by God to protect France.
2. Dressed up as man and joined the French army.
3. Picked out King of France in a crowd even though he was hiding from her.
4. Very successful in battles, yet was caught by English.
5. Burnt at the stake on May 30th, 1431.
