The right way to eat?

Question Posted Tuesday November 7 2006, 3:21 pm

I'm not anorexic or anything and definatly dont plan on it. I'm skinny and rather underweight even though I eat more junk food. So here is what I want to know. What are some very good healthy meals? I also want to get more in shape, so what are some good excersizes? We have a treadmill but I'm only 13 and I'm not allowed to use it. Any tips?

well you should be able to use the treadmil.
and eat 3 bigger meals like not just junk food. you should eat more carbs, protiens, things like that. you should gain wait. you should also talk to you doctor about it first because maybe your the right weight.

and for exercise just try taking walks or running or anything active.

Why aren't you allowed to use the treadmill? I'd ask your parents to reconsider it (arguments could be: I'll let you show me how you want me to use it, I'll be using one in highschool and I don't want to look like an idiot; I really want to exercise, etc)

I wouldn't recommend eating junk food to gain weight.. you're giving your body stuff it doesn't like. Eat a few hundred extra calories a day and CONTINUE TO EXERCISE!!! If you're dangerously underweight (and stay that way even after eating healthy food in moderate portions) you may have a thyroid condition.. but that's unlikely.

hope I helped :)
