Delete Limewire...It causes alot of problems. Try FrostWire Beta...It is cool and it has not given me a virus. Also make sure you have a good spyware and virus blocker.

Errr my laptop did the same thing & I just got it in september. Idk what you have but I have a delll and it reacts weird to certain programs. I cant download morpheus, napster, bearflix or bearshare. It all messed up my computer and took it to some weird blue screen. (idk if thats what yours is doing) But with limewire what you can do is download a virus/spyware protection program and in morpheus you can set it to scan each file as they're coming through (its under options in limewire). Make sure you have your virus scanner up and running while you're downloading music though. So it'll work. Limewire is spyware and virus free and its usually good about catching viruses before they come through by saying 'corrupted file'. Try what I said and see how that goes, it should work. As for your virus that you think you have, If your computer is running slow. Go into my computer, right click on C drive and hit properties and do a disk cleanup. Then go into your c drive, click the windows folder, go into prefetch and clear that. Also. Go into your internet explorer and hit tools, then internet options, and delete all your cookies/temporary internet files/history. That should speed it up =D

You should download some sort of firewall against spyware and viruses, and run scans to delete the current ones. Download itunes to play your music, its free and it isn't illegal.
