What should i do?

I am from sydney grew up in singapore. i came to aust in 2004.There was this guy that i liked.I thought he was hot and nice too.He was also a shy person and rather cute.He was the one.He is 15 years old born on 6 sep 1992 and i am born on 11 jan,therefore i am 15.his from croatia, i liked him for nearly three years. He seemed interested in me but i still feel a bit shy around him and i don;t know why he does not say hi to me. I actually had a chat with him and the school counsellor the other day.Today, he did not seem like talkin to me .I wonder what is he thinkin of me.i hav asked him out over the holidays on the email but he did not reply yet.What should i do? Should i back off and forget him.

even f he doesent say hi go up to him and say is something wrong you've been avoiding me...also i think he was most suprised and probably comfused about his feelings for you so maybe he needs time you just have to communicate with him try to seee whas in his brain try to see whats up. if he doesent react the way you want him to then back off meaning he's showing you to just keep as friends. But it just seems he is confused talk to him wun on wun not by -email or messenging...
