so i like this guy, but i don't know how to tell him

Question Posted Monday October 23 2006, 9:02 pm

There's this guy that I talk to in a few of my classes and I like him, quite a bit actually. But we are sorta friends and I want to go out with him but I don't know how I should tell him. Because I don't wanna ruin the friendship we already have. What should I do?

Lets start from the begining;

Step (1) Talllkkkkk to him.
Ask him to be partners in class, walk with him in the hallway, ask him about his day, make a comment about his favorite sports team, simply smile and say 'hi' you get the picture. Find an excuse to talk to him more.

Step (2) Start the flirtingggg moves :)
Tell him cute jokes, this is my favorite, guys love it when I say it to them.
Q: Why did the tomatoe blush?
A: Because it saw the salad dressing.
Cute, simple, it'll geta laugh or too.
Then, if he says something funny, lightly touch his arm and giggle.
Smile when you talk to him, and simply show you're having a good time with him.

To see if he likes you back, smile at him.
If he smiles back eagerly its a yes!
If its a small, struggled smile, he's just shy.
If its a weird look and a turnaround, its a no.

Step (3) When things get closer, ask him to hang out. Movies are always classic, grab his hand duering the middle just to make sure he get the point. Or, try going to a local theme park, swimming pool (not in October though, ha) local mall, just a classic hangout.

After a while, you'll be irristable to him.
Don't overcrowd him, clingy girls are annoying.
Give him space, be patient, and take it slow.
Leave a little mystery, guys love a challenge.

Good Luck <3

i am currently experiencing that exact situation although he has an ex-to-be. what i do is i'm always hanging with him around and when we have practices in school i am always asking him if he can accompany me the way back home. and now we're real close although he doesn't notice the way i act days ago. i always talk to him about her gf it's kinda hurtin me but i'm doing it for friendship's sake and for it to be an advantage for us to get real closer. still nobody knows it except me, myself, and I. i'm patient enough to tell him my feelings-- at about college i'm gonna tell him thru texting. at least i made our friendship last long without him noticing my plans. it's up to you, friendship, or love. while waiting for the right time, it's just an infatuation.

good luck to the two of us in telling our feelings...
