What is this? I'm a fourteen year old female.
Ever since I was eight, I've noticed these little patterns I have. Before I throw a backhand spring at cheerleading practice I have to count to eight three times.
Sometimes I wish for somethings, such as longer hair, and before I completed my wish I have to touch every end of my hair. (same if I wished for new clothes, I'd have to touch all my clothes atleast once.)
I feel as if I don't touch all of them, my wish won't come true.
Everything has to be in ABC order and all my sentenced have to have a period at the end, even if they're questions.
Is there something wrong with me?
What should I do?

It sounds like you're obssesive compulsive. I had this same sort of problem when I was little, but it went away. It's normal to have this and it can go away sometimes, but you might want to seek some help with it. For an example of REALLY bad obsessive compulsive dissorder watch some scenes from deuce bigallow european jigalow. The girl he ends up marrying in the end has really bad ocd, and she's fine. ]
it sounds like you have OCD [obsessive compulsive disorder.]alot of people have it,and it doesnt make you weird or anything.just talk to your parents about it,and your doctor.i know there is special therapy you can go to get rid of it.dont worry,i do they same thing sometimes.like at school when the bell rings i will stand up but then i feel like i have to sit back down straight and stand up again and sometimes i do it 3-4 times.ya so no worries,just talk to your parents.i could be wrong,but it sounds like OCD.good luck.=] ]
well i am but recorving from ocd which is kinda hard to get over the way to break it is just by doing the things like not touching something and with little steps over time it will become easer till it is not over your life if this doesn't work you can try getting help
At least you don't have occd where everything has to be clean and no dust took a long time to get over this also
14 is when my ocd was the worst if you try it can still be broken or at least controlled ]
Well im not a shrink, but it sounds like you're really organized, or you have obsessive compulsive disorder (Which is when you need things a certain way, or else you just keep thinking about it until you do it).
I think everyone is OC in certain ways though, for instance, i have to check the door to see if its locked every single night, even if my mom says its locked. one night i tried to go to sleep but i just layed in bed for half an hour thinking about if there was a burglary. finally i just went downstairs and checked, and yes of course it was locked, but as soon as i got back in my bed i fell asleep.
i cant honestly say if anything is wrong with you or not, but you can go to a doctors if you're truly worried about it. ]

which is Obsessive Complusive Disorder
its when you have to do things a certain way, or you`ll feel anxious.
talk to your parents bout it... and see if ou can get help for it.
