ask the people also keep in mind hymns like they would have listened to growing up. just talking you will find out a lot and the stories will make it all worth the time

What better way to find out what type of music they like or their favorit songs then to ask them?

Seeing as I'm not from the time when they were younger, I'm not that aware of the music they'd be into which is probably 50's music or so, so maybe try going to the music store and looking up a book for classic oldies, or even call up your grandparents and ask them what was popular back then. I'm sure you could find some good Frank Sinatra songs, Billie Holiday, Perry Combo, Nat King cole, there's a bunch of different people!

I hope I helped.

try to find some oldies. like my grandma has a piano book with like 50's pop in it. none of the songs i knew but she really enjoyed them. i would check on ebay or your local music store and see what you can find. I think they would be happy with that or songs they can dance too like the hookey pookey
