i am singing & playing piano at a nursing home for community service hours. i was wondering if anyone knew any songs that would be good to play. I want to play something they'll like. thanks!
MelLeDisko answered Thursday October 12 2006, 4:48 pm: Seeing as I'm not from the time when they were younger, I'm not that aware of the music they'd be into which is probably 50's music or so, so maybe try going to the music store and looking up a book for classic oldies, or even call up your grandparents and ask them what was popular back then. I'm sure you could find some good Frank Sinatra songs, Billie Holiday, Perry Combo, Nat King cole, there's a bunch of different people!
