Earlier versions of OpenCanvas

Question Posted Wednesday October 11 2006, 1:16 am

I have an older tablet PC that will not run the latest version of OpenCanvas, and while the free version 1 is alright, I would appreciate some of the features that were added later on. I have found 3.05E (which is shareware), but it crashes a lot. I thought this might be the tablet not meeting the system requirements, so I thought I would go back a version or two, but I can't find any earlier version except for 1. Can you help me find any versions between 1 and 3.05? I don't mind if they are shareware, the project I am working on shouldn't take more than a week at the most. I have been told 3.02 is one of the most stable versions, and if you could find the plus version (which handles screentones) I would appreciate it very much.

Hello there,

I understand your predicament. Here is a link to the internet archive page where I found a working 3.03 download. This has download link for oC 3 as well as oC3 plus.

All the previous versions seem to pre-date the English version of the portal graphics site.

Since I don't read Japanese, I cannot tell you about earlier versions. If you can read Japanese you should go here:

... and try earlier versions of the site.

I would like to see what you are working on, if you wouldn't mind. :-)

You can reach me here: dangernerd@gmail.com

Let me know how you do,

DN.

P.S. There are also many other programs you might wish to look into. Look here:

... to see if something else suits you, should all else fail.
