bar chords
14/m
ok so i play acoustic guitar.
im decent at best
the only thing is that there are certain songs i cant play
because i have stubby fingers
i cant hold down a bar chord
which is very aggrivating because things like jack johnson would be very easy if i could just play the bar chords.
is there any way to get my short fingers able to press down all 6 strings for a bar chord?
or am i just going to have to wait for my fingers to grow more
thanks-

try lighter gage strings and just playing alot will make them become easer i had a gripmaster and lost it time and work on actual strings worked for me eventually if you still can't try an electric the strings are easer to push down and the neck is thiner i am an electric person myself its worth a shot ]
If you buy a gripmaster it helps make all of your fingers really strong. If you use it everyday or before you start playing you will be able to play all the strings with only one finger. It helps strengthen your fingers so when you play fast songs you can hit the notes and not have to worry about your fingers. You can buy a gripmaster in any guitar store or just order it off of ebay or something. Mine is red and black. You would probably want to go with the medium tension. ]
