How soon after you have sex can you test for pregnancy. I think i may be pregant. I should get my period in another week or two? Should i test in a couple of days or should i wait untill i actually miss a period?

EPT tests will tell you 5 days before your missed period. if i were you though, i'd wait until i actually missed my period. it would be cheaper because you can't tell one way or another if you are pregnant before your missed period.

I'm sure you will hear that you can test soon after
but why waste the money. Many teens can't afford to check several times. Just wait until you miss your period. Then if it comes you didn't waste your money. And you won't be inclined to take another test to be sure.

They claim to have tests now that will tell you a couple of days after. But if it turns out negative
and your period doesn't start you will probably not really believe it and be tempted to buy yet another test. That is the point I did a bad job of making. :) If you want to try one though they do make them that will tell you withing a week or so
of having unprotected sex. :)
