I have a freind named harly and her brother david is also one of my best freinds. well me and this guy i like, russell, well me and him are good freinds, and david and harly know that i like him, well me and russell were talking on the fone one night and harly was there and what me and him were talking about was very very private, in my right mind i shouldnt have let harly listen to the coversation but i was stupid and i did. well she ended up telling a couple of my freinds, though i know of she told 1, and she told her brother david what me and russel were talking about and he told a bunch of other people what we were talking about and its really personal and now like alot of people know about it. and then russell found out that other people knew what we were talking about, and today he asked me if i had told any1 what we had talked about and i said, no and so he probably thinks that im lying, which im not cause i didnt, and the conversation was like 2 weeks ago, and every 1 r just starting to talk about it now. what should i say to russell to make him understand that it wasnt my fault, and what should i say to david and harly?
I would also just go up to Russell or call him, (whatever makes you feel comfortable) and just let him know that you honestly did NOT tell everyone the conversation you two shared, and why would you? You're just as embarassed as he is and offended everyone's talking about it. And let him know that while you were talking on the phone with him, you were hanging out with Harley and she overheard and knew what you two were talking about, and told her brother David, and it suddenly got spread around, and you're really sorry that it did.
And just remember the next time you go to have private conversations, make sure nobodys around, because you really can't trust nobody with ANYTHING nowadays, sadly.
