ok, so before i get totally into my question, i HAVE to add this, cause it will be important: im still trying to figure out my sexuality. i like girls but im not sure.
ok, onto my question. today in fourth block me and my friend thuy(girl) were talking. we just met this year. well she asked me if i had a boyfriend and i said no. then she was like well do you want me to hook you up with someone, and i just shrugged my shoulders. then she was like what kind of guy do you like, and she started saying like sweet and cute boys, athletic, and the whole time i just shrugged my shoulders. and she was like would your parents be mad if you dated a black boy? i was like no.. then she was like an asian boy? again i said no.. then she asked about white boys, i was like what do you think? then she was like do you like girls, and i mean i cant tell her yes, so i was like no way. then she grabbed my arm and i was like i think your cute and i like you or something like that. then we both started laughing and she was like im kidding. then my best friend was texting me and i got my phone to text her, and she was like who are you texting, your boyfriend or girlfriend? i was like i dont have one... then i turned back around to talk to her and she was like do you like asian girls.... and i was like as friends? yes.. and as soon as i said yes she was like as friends. she was like you should have let me finish my sentence.
thats basically it, but i dont know what to think. was she hinting, or just kidding around?? i dont know... help?

It sounds to me like your Best Friend thinks you're going out with Thuy (if that's her name). What I think you should do is somehow make your sexual preference clear. Do you like boys or girls or both? Once you have that figured out, figure out whether or not you want it to be private. If you decide private, make it clear that you don't love girls. If you want it to be something that only your girls know, that's cool. I'll tell you, one of my friends is Lesbian, and i'm the only one she's told. Let me know how it goes, Ok?

Well the only thing I can think for you to do is to figure out your sexuality and when you do and you figure out you like girls then talk to her about it. . . See if she was really hinting or just kidding around. Andif you're insecure about what she'll think about you if she was kidding just remember that if she's your real friend she wont care because you're still the same person on the inside. . .
