There are a lot of brilliant websites out there you can go on to.
My personal favourites are www.bebo.com and www.faceparty.com.
Just make sure you stay safe on any website you go onto, dont give out your phone number or address unless you really know the person.
Bebo is great as you can make your profile private to everyone and you invite your friends to join that way no random people can view it x
