MelLeDisko answered Tuesday September 26 2006, 4:59 pm: Just keep talking to him. Start up a conversation about basketball since you already know he likes it. Ask him if he caught the basketball game last night, or even ask him what makes him like it so much, how long has he been playing, is he on a team, etc. He'll appreciate that you're taking so much time to learn about him and find out what he's interested in. It'll make him feel special too. :)
Then just sort of drift the conversation into other areas, what else does he like to do in his spare time other than basketball? Does he have a screename ( so you guys can talk later ). Did he see that new movie that's coming out? Doesn't it look really cool? What kind of genre of movies does he like, whats his favorite? I could go on. Sooner or later, you'll just begin to talk about random things.
You could also try and hang out with him. Mention the movies, and then possbily mention a hang out sometime soon @ the movies, or ask him if he could maybe help YOU out with basketball, cause it seems like a pretty cool sport.
To make it not obvious you like him, just talk to him like you would a friend and keep it cool. Take deep breaths if you have to to calm your nerves if you have any.

advicegurl505 answered Tuesday September 26 2006, 3:39 pm: dear how to talk to my crush,
I think to start out just get to know or you will probley make a big fool of yourself so find out what he is instrested in and things like that.
When you know the time is right to start talking to your crush go up to him and just talk about random stuff and compliment him i compliment my friends all the time so he probly won't think anything of it.
Ask him has he ever seen the movie ______
then if he says yes get into detail and what you liked about the movie and things like that.
but whatever you do don't be afraid to talk to him he is just a guy.
Invite some of you friends to a baseball game and ask him if he would like to go if he is instrested in you at all he would say yes.
okay if you don't want him to know you like him don't stare at him all the time just every now and then okay
I hope i helped thankyou
and good luck and remember
if he is worth it
he will like you
xoxchewiexox answered Tuesday September 26 2006, 1:14 pm: he may either be awkard cos he doesnt talk to girls much, or he likes you.
be causal around him, dont just jummp up and say HI!
come up to him after practice one day (after watching dont just arrive)and say:
hey,i saw you playing, your really good etc(flatter him, but dont gush, smile, but dont grin like an idiot, laugh but not at everything he says. talk to him like hes a frined of yours.talk to him about baseball, school , etc. find out what sociel topics he seems to like and try and talk about them more.
once your comfortable, he will be too, so dont be all tensed and distracted, people react to other people body language, so lean on a wall, to show, youd like to stay and talk to him.
over all, be casual
and he will too
