my hair is a wreck..

Question Posted Sunday September 24 2006, 11:59 am

Like this isn't something everyone says everyday. But, I really need help. My hair is extremely, extremely thick and wavy. Occasionally it becomes curly, and if I straighten it (which takes twice as long as it should) it looks okay too. But what can I do on a daily basis? Any ideas?

ok well i have thick curly hair, and i got it cut in lots of small layers to make it thinner, and it works. Also i'm sure it would look pretty if you leave it curly, so you should get like a curl cream ( i suggest Curl Life which you can get a salons, and now at CVS and right aid)and take ur showers when you wake up, and brush your hair, smooth the crean through your hair, and scruch it alittle to start the curls, and let it dry naturally. DON'T BRUSH IT AFTER IT HAS DRIED!! it just makes it all frizzy and messy!

I hope this helped! ask me more questions if you need more help!!

My hair is like that. Try using what I do. I use Aussi Sprunch spray ([Link](Mouse over link to see full location)). All you do is wash your hair and when its dryed a little (like not dripping wet) spray this stuff on and scrunch your hair in your hands. It leaves the cute waves in without being a totally disaster. I hope this helps

My hair is the same exact way! WHat i did is i got it thinned it doesnt hurt at all (well it doesnt when your hair is wet) but go to your hair salon and ask her to get your hair thinned...and don't worry your hair wont be thin permentaly (sp) the thickness grows back after a couple months...and so if you get your hair thinned it will be alot easier. and it doesnt cost that much either

but if you don't want to do that some ideas on how to wear your hair

1. Messy bun
2. If your hair is long put your hair in a pony tail while your hair is still wavy my friend does it and it looks cute
3. You could clip back your bangs (if you have any) and leave your hair down while it is curly/wavy it seems to look cute

Hope i helped
:]
