It could be an ingrown hair. If you shave your vagina, it could have gotten infected. So try putting hydrocortisone on it.
It could be just a pimple also. It's possible to get them down there you know. If the hydrocortisone doesn't work, try popping it if it doesn't hurt to bad. If you feel any discomfort, stop immediately!
Or yes, it could be an STD. I doubt it though, because usually with STDS you will see more problems then just one little bumb. If it doesn't go away within a few weeks, try going to the doctor and see what (s)he says. [ Melody's advice column | Ask Melody A Question ]

If you are not sexually active, it's most definately not an STD. If you are sexually active then you might want to get it out. However, odds are it's just a pimple or an ingrown hair. Pop it and if a hair comes out.. It was an ingrown hair. [ xXxpinky615xXx's advice column | Ask xXxpinky615xXx A Question ]
Jennifer011 answered Saturday September 23 2006, 11:01 pm: this happened to my friend who is not sexually active. hers was just a pimple and the doctor said that it was normal, but that if she got a ton more to come visit him again. so yours is probably nothing. girls' hormones produce so much oil, so it probably happens to all of us without us noticing. however, if you are sexually active and it doesn't pop i would definitely get it checked out. it's probably nothing, but better to be safe than sorry!!
