Aveeno calming foaming cleanser is really good. Also using an exfoliator 1-2 times a week is a really good idea. Burt's bees deep pore scrub is amazing.
Deffintely try to not eat so much junk food. It drives your hormones crazy. Every once in awhile is fine. Lots of fruits and vegetables help skin tremondously. Caffine also drives skin crazy. If your a starbucks addict like me, just get decalf.
I promiss this will help. Keep eating healthy and trying ^those products and I promiss your skin will continuely be clear.
:] I hope I helped! good luck!

I know this site (only for certain qualified pepole) where every logs on, and types their comments, idea about a variety of topics. One topic is about acne and they said that 1 thing they regret is using what dermatologits perscribe. It really hurt them internaly and externally. It's so powerful and once you stop using it, the acne will come back like crazy. So do not go to the dermatologists. Another thing: most of the people who tried Proactive said that it didnt work, it dried out their skin, it caused buring irritation for some people. It works for some people--yes.But no everyone, so we need to be cautious about what products we use.
I don't recomend store bought products that says it will get rid of acne because it will dry out your skin and cause irritaiton. I'm struggling with some acne too but I've got it under control now and it's getting way better. My guidelines are:
Wash your face twice a day with Cetaphil. You can buy it at Rite Aid, Costco..almost anywhere. It's a really gentle cleanser that will smooth, soften, and make your skin feel uberly pretty.
There are 2 things you can do after you wash your face at night:
1-Miz red ginseng gel kind of thing with hot water and flour. Dip gauze in there and put it on your face for 15-20min. This is VERY effective but the bad side: It's VERY expensive stuff and it requires a long time, complicated, and such. This should be done only once a week. But if you want to use this method, email me or send me a msg to the inbox and I'll give you more specific instructions.
2-Green tea. Mix green tea pwder (organic if you can get it) with water from the fridge. Mix it and just splash it on your face every night after you was your face--about 1-2 cups will be fine.
Tip: Do not do them in the mornings. Do not do both of them in one night. If you're gonna do#1 method, do it once a week and #2 do it every night. This will take some time so yeah.
Those 2 methods will help the acne and make your pores smaller
Lay off of greasy foods like junk food, fries, fast food, pizza. If you get small red bumps, lay off of ketchup, hot sauce, pizza suace, etc. Eat a lot of vegetables to get rid of blackheads. [ ductape_n_roses's advice column | Ask ductape_n_roses A Question ]
