I know that although my school doesnt have uniforms all of the trends are starting to become alike. Its really annoying.. it makes me wonder where the term 'originality' went!

Sproucing your uniform would deffinetly be really cool. Try layering your polos, wearing funky jewlery like bangles or or long necklaces, or even try adding lace around the bottom of your shirts.

Another thing that can make you stand out is try doing something new with your hair. Tease it. Make it huge. add highlights or make it choppy. Also adding ribbins bows or thick headbands is always really cute!

Good luck!

This article on Seventeen.com has really great ideas: [Link](Mouse over link to see full location)

Here are some other easy, funky, and simple ways to add a little flair:

-Wear necklaces! I especially like fake pearls and mardi gras beads.

-Headbands (cloth or plastic) can also be really cute.

-If you're allowed, wear a funky patterned long-sleeved top underneath your polo shirt.

-When you wear a skirt, try wearing tights or leggings underneath. They're great not only because they're super trendy right now, but also they keep your legs warm and no one can see your underwear :) They have fabulous tights at www.lookfromlondon.com and really cute leggings at www.urbanoutffiters.com, but you might be able to find leggings in your mom/aunt/other relative's closet.

-For shoes: wear really comfy sneakers or flats. They're casual but still adorable. I recommend Keds (www.keds.com), Converses ([Link](Mouse over link to see full location)), or Vans (www.vans.com).

-For jackets: I like hoodies and jean jackets. They have the best jean jackets at Gap (I adore this one: [Link](Mouse over link to see full location)),
and you can get really awesome hoodies at Delia's (www.delias.com) and Old Navy (www.oldnavy.com).

-I LOVE SCARVES!! You can wear them traditionally around your neck, as a headwrap/headband, or as a funky belt.

Good luck, I hope I helped!
