ductape_n_roses answered Saturday September 23 2006, 5:25 pm: AHH NO PROACTIVE YO! I'm serious. A lot of people who used it said that it didn't work even with regular use for about 6 months. It will dry out some peoples skin and cause irritation. Not all products are meant for everyone. Everyone reacts DIFFERENTLY to each products.
One thing that will work for everyone:
-Don't eat greasy foods
-Eat a lot of vegetable
-WATER
-Use Cetaphil to clean your face twcie a day everyday
-Don't wear make up
-Don't put stuff on your face such as oil or sugar
-When you buy sunscreen or lotion, make sure it's oil free and own't clog pores
-Mix green tea powder with fridge water and splash it on every night after washing your face about 1-2cups should do
-Do NOT go to the dermas. They are a rip off. They don't do anything but perscribe medications that will seriously hurt you. Most people regret the fact that they did everything the dermatologists told them. Now at age 30+ they have the worst skin (rough, dry, irritated) and people who took oral medications are suffering from the powerful substances in them. Most of these products never work. You'll have to take them all your life because they only control the acne for a short amount of time [ ductape_n_roses's advice column | Ask ductape_n_roses A Question ]

It's basically the same thing and works just as good if not better. They also make a scar remover which helps to lighten scars and reduce the redness of pimples. Acne Free is under $20 and if you have severe acne, they make Acne Free for severe acne which is under $30. The scar remover is around $15, if you wanted to try that. Another product you can try is Nature's Cure, which is a pill you take twice a day and it's good if you have acne other places than your face. Here's Acne Free's website: [Link](Mouse over link to see full location) I hope this helps! <3 Dana [ littleblufirefly's advice column | Ask littleblufirefly A Question ]

You can either go to a dermatologist or buy proactive.
Proactive works if you use it correctly and you have a good moisturizer.
Clean and Clear products are good if you can't get Proactive.
Just use a product once a day.. every few days.
or when it tells you to.
