Question Posted Wednesday September 20 2006, 5:22 pm
Alright, so.. i have been going out with my boyfriend for almost 8 months now, and i still cant get over the fact of some of the girls that are his friends. They are much much more prettier than i am, and i just think they like him and they ALWAYS flirt with him and i get really pissed off and i want to like kill them (not literally i just feel that way). How can i stop being so jealous?
Additional info, added Wednesday September 20 2006, 5:23 pm: also, i am a year younger than my boyfriend (im 15) and his friends that are chicks are the same age as him (16).. Geneva answered Thursday September 21 2006, 3:58 am: try and not think about it, ignore them, their just jealous of you for being his gf! ignore them, they'r trying to get your jealous enough so that it causes a fight between u and ur bf and you never see eachother again, that way they get a chance [ Geneva's advice column | Ask Geneva A Question ]

The thing is, since he's with you. He really likes you and the other girls are .. about nothing to him.
Just think.. he picked you over them. So maybe that's one way to get rid of jealously.
And it won't cause problems, if you get upset about some girl. And he won't get all weirded out or anything. You shouldnt tell him about the jealously or he might feel like you can't trust him. Even though, you don't trust the girls.
It's hard to stop being jealous.
But since he's with you and he has these special moments with you, it's more important then the time he spends talking to other girls.
If he's talking to some girl and she's flirting. You can put your arm around him or go up and kiss him.. So they see he is "yours"
And if the girl continues to flirt you could say something like, "I would like it if you would stop flirting with MY BOYFRIEND"
