I just got my braces off three days ago and I've found that ever since, it really hurts my gums when I brush my teeth. I'm flossing now that I have no braces, and that doesn't hurt. But the brisles hurt very badly on my teeth. Why is this? What can I do to ease the pain?
If you would like, put the toothpaste on your finger and gently massage your gums until they become stronger. If the pain is TOO intense I suggest telling your parents.
After a week or so your gums should adjust and become stronger.
