music
teachers
etc
until you find a guitar teacher.
Pay him or her to teach you.
Or just mess about with it until you get the hang of it (it's bound to happen sometime).
Oh, and tune it- it'll be easier for other people to listen to it then. [ Ursula's advice column | Ask Ursula A Question ]

First you have to learn the different beats like, quater notes, half beats, and so on. Then you have to learn how to read music. I learned the basics just fine with out a teacher and you probaly could to. Just so you know, learning any instrument takes a lot of time and dedication.
Make sure your up for that.
