Question Posted Thursday September 7 2006, 6:22 pm

mkay so there's this guy..please dont stop reading i know you are probably sick of these questions but i rly need help..and i rly like him and i want to go to homecoming with him. but he needs to ask me. i dont want to ask him because girls arent supposed to do the asking. we are pretty good friends and all but i want to be more than that. i really want him to be my bf. he flirts with me all the time before first period when we talk for like half an hour and i dont know if he likes me as more than a friend he just kind of acts like it but it could be me wishing he was acting like that. i dont know what exactly my question is but please help! and please dont say just wait, homecoming isnt that far away and if im going with him i have to have sufficient amount of time to get a dress haha. please help and sorry this is so long. (will rate)

DUDE! Rambling. Punctuation. Spelling. I would've said "Screw this question" because it belongs in one of the "Questions I hate" list in my column but since you said to dont stop reading.

Anywhos. Why can't girls ask guys out? Seriously. I;ve done that twice. And it worked =D I don't see why the guys have to be the ones asking girls out but if that's not your thing, well I don't know.

I don't know him so I cant say for sure if he likes you or not. But really, he could just be really himself when you think he's flirting with you. This is one of the dilema I had. I would always think that my guy friend was flirting with me and I really wanted him t obe my bf (no joke. this is a real story). But when I asked him, he only wanted to stay friends. And later on I accepted that because I'm pretty good friends with him and I'm proud of that. He has like no girl friends because all the girls like him and go out with him and bam, they're his ex in a few days. But me, well I'm his friend no matter what and the other girls can't have that.

ASK him out. Or have your friend slyly drop in a convo mentioning that you want him to ask you out for the prom...when you're not there. And say yes! lmao. And if he turns you down n other guys ask you out, go out with them and have a blast. You don't always have to go to homecoming with a guy. Go with your friends and don't let it ruin all the fun cuz of ONE boy.

Just have fun =D

Well... If you really think he likes you, I would suggest bringing the homecoming up. By bringing it up, chances are that if he wants to go with you, he will ask you. If he doesn't proceed with it. Don't let the subject change. Even if your shy, try saying I'm so nervous I won't have a date or anything similar. hope I helped. Any more questions, feel free to ask.
