Make it personal and different for each person.
Write inside jokes, fun times, nicknames etc.
Be creative :)

When I had to write on pictures, I usually just put funny moments me and that person had or inside jokes we shared. Then near the end you could write a little something about how much of a good friend they are. How they're there for you whenever you need them. How understanding and kind they are towards you and other people. Just write down what you like about that person and the fun times you guys had with one another. ♥
