No. Nothing at all will happen. People used to say it would give you arthritis but that has been found to be untrue. :)

From one knucle popper-to another...Nah, well... nothin' to important that is. They MIGHT swell a little in cold weather, but that's it. Me & my sister pop our of habit or what-not. Mine swell a little (not enough for anyone else to tell) and my sister's don't at all.
