science fair

Question Posted Sunday September 3 2006, 3:38 pm

i need good science project ideas. i want kind of girlish ones though. i need a list to choose from. [ex. which shampoo ingredients make your hair stronger] i can't have any brands like kleenex vs. puffs. it has to do with some specific ingredient in the product. [ex. does a face towel with mousterizer clean more than a regular face towel.] i really hope you can help. i'll give you some topics i would like to do it on.

make-up
body concept
color [affecting anything]
nail polish
cell phones
picture taking
fabrics and textures
music

just anything kindof like that. THANK YOU SO MUCH!! hearts =]

ive never done a science fair project but here are some ideas that i could think about.

make-up: maybe compare the liquid with the powder see which one stays on your face the longest. You can do that with the liquid eyeliner, foundation, eyeshadow and etc...

colors: maybe do something with clothing colors. Do different body types. And what colors look best on each body type.

nail polish: buy a bunch of different brands and see which brand stays on your fingers the longest after having the color on for a week.

picture taking: i love this topic because im a photo tech. and i develop tons of pictures and you can deff. tell the differences between the diff. types of film. You buy a kodak, fuji, aps disposable camera. And see which gives out the best coloring. Which capture the picture and gets the best coloring.
--if you like this one i can deff try to answer any questions you have.

thats all i can think of any questions just ask.
kim:)

I did a science fair project on nail polish once. I put different brands on each nail and after about a week or so, saw which one lasted the longest without any chipping or anything. :] you could do that.

Make-up- see what types of make-up are actually good for your skin and doesnt make you break out.

Nail Polish- which types of nail polish stay on for a long time vs. rubs off very easily

fabrics and textures- which fabric/texture rips easily

picture taking- what kinds of cameras have the best quality of picture taking.

That's all I can think of.

I hope I helped!
