Question Posted Sunday September 3 2006, 3:19 pm

Okay..Its September 3, 2006. And Im 14 and I have been working on my weight. Im a female and i weigh over 200 pounds. Yes, i know thats really bad. Okay..I want to lose 100 pounds before 9th grade summer, which is summer of 07. I have this drink in the morning which is grapefruit juice and water mixed and i usually have water or crackers at lunch and then when i come home i have more and more water and have little snacks here and there. Do you think I can lose 100 pounds before 9th grade summer if I keep this up?

Thankx Advicenators!!

you would probably die if thats what you ate for one single year. you're missing out on protein and vegetables...and also fruits...but the others are more important. you need to eat healthy and actually do some physical activity because i didnt read anything up there saying you would walk or job or do tennis or anything. there is no way you can loose 100 lbs in a year if you just eat water and crackers and dont excersize.

when you stop eating how much you usually eat, your body tyinks its starving and saves all the food you ate in the past day for body fat instead of burning it off. that gives you about 5 lbs. it also burns off calories slower, so that if you actually were starving, you would last longer. that'll add about another couple of lbs in a week.

do yoga or stretches, and walk for at least fifteen minutes a day. as for eating do something like this.....

breakfast- granola bar, and that juice thing you mentioned

lunch- carrot/celery sticks, slices of cheese, peanut butter and crackers, water, pretzels

dinner- vegetable stir fry with pasta, milk, and then for dessert have fruit or something.

you can loose the weight if you really want to, but you need to make sure you eat protein (cheese, fish, peanut butter) and vegetables... and dont forget to excersize either

:)

100 pounds takes a long time to lose since its only healthy to lose 1-2 pounds a week. Don't skip any meals because that just makes you gain weight. Have a good breakfast since its the most important meal of the day. Eat lots of fruits and veggies and if you want to lose 100 pounds then no or only a little junk food. Do 40 crunches in the morning and 40 at night and do lots of cardio excersizes like walking and running. If you don't already have a tredmill then you should get one. While your watching tv go on the tredmill. Just eat healthy and excersize and you should lose weight in no time. ♥

100 pounds is a lot to lose but since you're already over weight it will be easier for you than someone who isn't and just wants to lose weight but i think as long as you keep it up and exercize you'll be able to do it.
