I am feeling really sad today. Something happened and I can't stop crying. How do I cheer myself up?

what i usually do when im sad is clean or workout. working out makes me feel better about myself for some reason. cleaning just takes my mind of things. sometimes i go in my room and put in a cd i like and dance around like an idiot to it. that seems to work for me. hope you feel better!!

Just do anythign to get it off your mind. Or if you need to talk about it and just get it all out then maybe call one of your good friends and just ask if you can talk for a little, then maybe hang out go do somthing to keeep you occupied.

Don't think about what happened. It'll be hard, but if you concentrate on things that make you happy, you'll be sure to be happier.

what makes you happy do it if that doesnt work your just realy realy realy sad and youll get over it in your own time ]
Watch a funny movie, listen to music, it really depends on what happened just do things to keep your mind off of it. ]
Write down on a sheet of paper the things you like about yourself, your accomplishments, your good points. Then read them to yourself over and over. It will build self esteem. Then again, that might not relate to whatever happened. I would suggest taking a nap for awhile. Sleeping always makes you feel better and it helps the time pass. Also, if you work out (if you can get the nerve to) you'll naturally be feeling more spirited throughout the day. The worst thing you can do is sit in your room with nothing to do except think about it all the time. I hope this helped. ]
Time heals all wounds. Unfortunately, today and tomorrow are pretty much going to suck. There are many constructive things you could do for the future: Seek psychological help, talk to friends... However, as for today and tomorrow, I reccomend taking a break from reality. This is something that you should rarely do, and should only attempt when the pain becomes too much to bear. Basically, if you have video games, play them. If you have DVDs, watch them. Anything good on TV? Just keep yourself entertained constantly. And remember: Things will get better! ]
