i have glasses and i really hate them because they keep breaking and go crooked and i look bad in them. i want contacts but my dad thinks they'll ruin my eyes how can i convince him hes wrong?

Well i have contacts. They kinda hurt the first couple times but after 3-4 times to put them in, they don't bug me at all. Try telling your dad that your eyes will be better with them and you won't have to like take your glasses off and clean them if they get dirty. You leave them in all day and take them out at night before bed.

ask your dad to take you to the eye doctor, and have the eye doctor explain to them how comfortable they can be and everything. your dad probably just wants to hear this all from a professional. and also, if you have any friends with contacts, let them talk to him too and explain to them how they like them and they're eyes aren't ruined or anything so there's proof right there. haha, i'm sure if they ruined people's eyes, proably half the world wouldn't be wearing them right now. ha, anyways. i hope i helped.
