Yes, you should drop the girlfriend if she is too distracting. Try a less attractive girl next time. Kidding. Just put a limit on the time you hang out when you should be studying if that works. If you can't say no to her and she is not supportive of you, then she goes.

All people's grades tend to drop whenever they start dating someone because your attention tends to focus all on them and less on school and grades. I would just have a talk with your girlfriend and tell her how your grades are dropping and how sometimes you might need to study instead of hang out. And she should understand. But, if you want to even spend time together WHILE studying, have her become your study buddy. Just hang out with eachother for like, an hour and the devote the rest of the time you guys hang out to studying and memorizing answers and everything. I hope I helped. <3

i know where you stand at. I had good grades and when i started dateing this guy they dropped. Its a normal thing its probally because most of your focus is on this one person. What you should do is make some time for yourself so you can study. Maybe even set up a study date with your girlfriend. My boyfriend found out my grades were dropping and he wanted to help so maybe your girlfriend will want to help. Hope i helped?
