Herbal essences- Dangerously Straight

Question Posted Thursday August 31 2006, 11:40 am

Has anyone tried the dangerously straight shampoo and conditioner by herbal essences? Do they actually make your hair straigh? or is it for people who have straight hair? my hair is kinda wavy and im looking for a product that will make my hair straight. i already have a flat iron. and i use that alot..so i was looking to find another way to straighen my hair. so if any of you have any ideas..let me know! thanks!

I have tried it in the past and I have thick wavy/curly hair. It worked pretty well for me. Now here is the mistake that many people make....they do work at helping the hair become easier to straighten (it kinda like relaxes your hair in some way)which ever way you do it whether it's blow drying or using a flat iron. BUT it does not straighten it just like that. You have to straighten it after..but there is alot less work. Though they do sell hair serums that you can apply before you straighten to prevent damage from the heat.

it worked on my hair for like 2 weeks, and then it just worked like normal shampoo and conditioner. but ijust bought the hello hydration stuff and it makes my hair SO soft. so if you straighten your hair and stuff, then get the hydration one so your hair doesnt get fried.

Well. Herbal essences is a really good product. Dangerously straight does make youre hair straight. When i use it, i dont even need to straighten my hair at all. Even though i still do, I honestly dont need to. You should seriously consider getting it because its way better for your hair than straightening it =]

Good luck

herbel essences isnt really good for your hair. because it puts some kind of chemical that puts kind of like weight on your hair to make it look kind of straight. you also can straighten your hair with a blow dryer and just blow dry it straight.
