Do You Think It Was Tasty???

Question Posted Wednesday August 30 2006, 6:25 pm

Today my friend asked me this riddle: "A man ate a seagull sandwich and then he died- How did he die?" I guessed and guessed, and then gave up. The problem is she won't tell me. Then I asked her sister... Nope, shes not telling me either. Does anyone know the answer because i's driving me INSANE!!! Please answer only if you have heard this riddle and know the answer! Thanks from the deep blue sea.

Okay, well I've gone on Google and tried "Riddles+seagull sandwhich" and I recieved similar stories ; practically the same. Except a few included a boat and an island but the main point was a man ate a seagull sandwhich and died, and how did he die?

The answer was that the seagull was his wife, and whenever he ate it, he realized it and then he killed himself.

I'm not sure, though. This is where I found it. But everytime I searched it up, they all came out the same answers. The man realized he ate his wife, and he killed himself after. So try suggesting that to your friend and her sister, and see if that's it. I'm sorry if it's not, but I researched as much as I could. Haha, if that's not it and you DO find it out, please tell me cause it's driving me crazy now!

I hope it is though, and I hope I helped! <3

omgsh!! i've heard this riddle before, but i can't remember the answer! now it is really going to bother me. but i'm going to ask my parents later tonight, and if they know the anser i'll let you know <3

**EDIT**

okayed i googgled it and found this solution:

the blind man was once stuck on island, and ate something he
thought was a seagull... but actually it was human being. and when
he finally ate real seagull, he understood that he has eaten
someone and could not stand it...

but that doesn't seem too funny, so idk. but here is where i found it:

if thats not the answer, then tell me what it is because its driving me crazy now!
