Ballet

Question Posted Tuesday August 29 2006, 4:31 pm

f/15
I did ballet when I was younger && I had to quit because of a family issue. But now I want to start up agian and I would like to know if any of you guys are dancers and if you have any tips for me. Or know any sites I can go to to read up on it. Or personnal tips that you use?

You know, stuff you think beginners should know.

Much Thanks

I started tap this year. the first comment my teacher made on my tap dancing at my very first lesson was that I had completed about a year of work in a half-hour and that it was a really good idea to start late. If you start dance at 4 you'll stay that coordinated, which is not much. I started tap at 17 and I can do more advanced stuff than younger kids at the same level. my tip? just start.
