Take the sponge and hold your eyelid shut. Find where the natural crease is, and lightly brush it on. Brush it on no higher than the crease. Try to make it darker near the eyelash, and gradually get lighter towards the crease. It adds a very sexy effect when your eyes are closed. Put more on the outside corners of your eyes to give it a cat-eye effect. [ TheHeadHonchoPoncho57's advice column | Ask TheHeadHonchoPoncho57 A Question ]
mizmoo answered Saturday August 26 2006, 7:04 pm: the best thing about eyeliner it may change the shape of your eyes if you have small eyes it can make them look larger an large make them look smaller eyeliner dosent suit all eye colours and its better on the bottom as mascarra dose all the work on the top
if you have small eyes just put it on the far part of your bottom eyelid further away from your noes if large then normally
for a suficticated look use liquid eye lines above the eye just pull your eye slightly away from your noes. [ mizmoo's advice column | Ask mizmoo A Question ]

BitsandPieces answered Saturday August 26 2006, 6:26 pm: The current and fresh way to do eyeliner is to use a small brush and shadow instead of pencil. If you do prefer a liner pencil, use the automatic gel type that requires no sharpening. It will glide on easily without tugging at fragile eyelid skin or damaging eyelashes. duudee_advicer answered Saturday August 26 2006, 5:09 pm: Heres how I do it:
Apply the liner to the top lid by simply closing your eye half way and drawing the line on as close as possible. Then go over it one more time to make sure that there aren't any "gaps" between where you applied it and your lashes. Then take a wet Q-Tip with hand soap on it and run it along the top of the liner to take off the thickness and harshness of the color. Smudge the ends of the line with a smudging brush, to make the line look smoother and softer. :) [ duudee_advicer's advice column | Ask duudee_advicer A Question ]

For the top or your eyelid, close the eye that you are applying it to, and keep the other open to see. Put the pencil as close to your lash line as you possibly can. It looks best when it just fades out towards the middle of the eyelid. To do this easily, get a liner pencil that has the pencil on one end and a smudger on the other end. Create a clear line that does almost to the middle, and use the smudger to just gently make a soft line that goes to the middle or just past. I'd recommend an eyeliner pencil for this, that has a smudger on it--I believe CoverGirl carries one. Also, You want to put the eyeliner on after you apply shadow, but before you apply mascara.:) [ FrEe2bMe's advice column | Ask FrEe2bMe A Question ]
