Here's what I do...
I be myself. Say nice things about him and don't act so shy around him. One guy will come upt to you and tell you or some weird way.

Sweetie, don't worry. I was in that situation too. I mean I wanted to talk to guys and liked them but I would usually end up teasing them or being mean to them
But I learned to control and hodl back my mean comments or such and just talk to them like they were my [girl] friends. But don't discuss the femal anatomy or such stuff.
Just be casual and say hey, what's up or talk about a TV show that you think is stupid or good, and just be casual about your subjects. If you're going to be entering a new school year, that is the BEST time to change this whole thing. Practice by talking to guys online first. Be friendly. Read what you typed and see if that will have a negative or positive response before you hit enter or press send. Then at school, just act like youre talking to your closest friends =D
Have fun. Oh and the flirting thing...hmmm I don't know how to put this...but just be casual and natural and #1 rule: BE YOURSELF. That's what most girls can't do. They have to put on a fake mask to inpress themselves. Compliment them a few times or in a firendly way go down the halls with linked arms or give them friendly hugs. Although if you do that, there is a risk of making that guy your good friend which is not really good when you like them as a crush.

Awww, hun, all you have to do is be yourself,....act like your around one of your friends, try not to be all "oh my gosh, i have to impress him" because that will just make you nervous. Try not to be mean, make sure you smile at them when they look at you, and usually if they smile back, your in. Good luck hun! hope i helped!!
