i have a few questions about the hymen.. what is the hymen? and where is it located and how far in is it in the vagina??

The hymen is a membranous tissue structure that partly obstructs the vaginal opening. It breaks because of force, but that force does not have to be sexual intercourse. The following website has a drawing that shows the location.
