I saw this kid today and he seems really nice and we just know of eachother. Anyways, I saw him today and I said waved and he just turned and smiled and kept on going. (It wasn't like a friendly smile). It was a late response by both of us since I couldn't exactly tell if it was him or not at first. Should I still be nice and friendly, or should I just not really care anymore?

Sometimes people are in a hurry to stop and chat. Or, too lazy to wave back. You say it wasn't a friendly smile but that could have been either just because he didn't recognize you (you said it was a late response because you couldn't even tell if it was him) or he gave you a friendly smile but you mistook it as not.
Either way, don't look into it that much. It's not that big of a deal. Next time you see him (and you know he sees you) give him a smile and see what he does. [ orphans's advice column | Ask orphans A Question ]

My rule of thumb is that I am always at least polite and nice to someone until they are rude or do something to me. SO I would say hi and be nice in the future and if he gives you the same response again I would then re-evaluate being nice to him. [ sassysara's advice column | Ask sassysara A Question ]
