changing feelings?

Question Posted Friday August 18 2006, 9:58 pm

My boyfriend is younger than me. We've been together for a little longer than 4 months and we couldn't be more perfect for eachother. He treats me more like a lady than I have ever been treated before..and he always is so sweet no matter who he is around. He'll tell me face to face how he really feels and how nothing can come between us. (I know it sounds phony, but it's really cute.) We both don't care if people deny we're in love or not, and I couldn't ask for a better boyfriend. But lately, its just little things that are making me feel like he doesn't like me as much anymore. He's just kind of lifeless when I talk to him ... and I'm not sure if it has to do with our friend moving away or if he just doesn't love me as much. help?

Don't worry!Just talk to him, tell him you care and that he can tell you anything, he might tell you what is wrong, that happened to me and he was perfect and the same thing, but he can tell me anything, maybe if you gained his confidence and he might know what is wrong

hope i helped

hey there!

dont worry! he's probably upset that his friend is moving away. most guys have trouble opening up and he only knows to shut down when it comes to other people. let him know that your also upset that your friend is leaving and ask him how he feels. he just needs support from someone so tell him that you are going to be here and hope that he will be there for you too. you might want to give him some time to hang out with his friend or let him have some time to himself. hope this helps!

It could be that he is going through a mood change right now,a difficult time since your friend is moving away so that must be it,don't think he doesn't love you as much trust me it'll past as soon as when it passes and you just give him support, and love because he really needs it that's all you have to do.

Maybe he just needs some space. Whether he is a little depressed over a friend leaving or not, only he can tell you. It is healthy to give each other space for personal time. Even if you are the love of his life, and "nothing can come between" you, I want you to give him breathing room. He may find out he misses you if you give him time. You need to make sure that you are having fun and friends outside of him, also. Otherwise, you two will go from beautiful to boring.

Alot of guys go through a depression stage when someone close to them is going away. Its not that he doesnt still love its just that when his friend moves everything will change for him. Most guys dont like to deal with change so they shut themselves out. Some people mistake it for hate but it just them trying to convince themselves that they dont care. Maybe if you did something for him to make him feel better. Maybe take him out for a movie or dinner or something like that. Maybe all he needs is knowing you will be by his side no matter what happens.
